My name is Bryan Meyers, and I teach the English classes here at Prue High School. I am married to Monica, my beautiful wife of seventeen years, and we have been blessed with four children—three boys and a girl, or as we say tongue-in-cheek, “three thorns and a rose!”
Before coming to Prue, I taught Humanities at Regent Preparatory School in Tulsa, and before that, at Petra Academy in Bozeman, Montana.
I am interested in small-scale agriculture (I keep bees!), hope to run a “subsistence farm” someday, love to read, and think that there is nothing more important for us parents, teachers, children, and students to do than to seek to improve our souls. For as one of my favorite authors, Walker Percy, said, “You can get all A’s and still flunk life!”
I am happy to be at Prue again, and I look forward to getting to know each of you better. Thank you for the privilege of teaching your students. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
